About Grommets Ltd A family business for over 30 years

We are proud of our heritage and as a fourth-generation, family-run business that has been producing grommets and rubber products for nearly 35 years. From humble beginnings to worldwide markets! Grommets Ltd was started in 1993 by Sid Wells and Jo Boorsma with our HQ in a draughty shed in Horsham!  Today we operate from our modern office and dispatch building in Henfield with our factory next door.

As a fourth-generation British rubber moulding business; we are now a leader in making grommets and other small mouldings for a wide market.

We supply to a diverse range of clients spanning multiple sectors including transport, engineering, medical, green industries, and military both in the UK and abroad - all underpinned by our quality standards backed up with our ISO9001 LRQA accredited quality management system.

We’ve got a story to tell that we are extremely proud of.

It all started in 1993 when Sid Wells set up ‘Grommets’ after closing his long-standing business RTS, a rubber moulding company he previously started with two friends, due to a lack of progress in the Civil Service industry. The rest as they say is history...
